"Very Good"

Room was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was very disappointing, supposed to be continental a selection of pastries but was actually crumpets, tea cakes and scottish pancakes. Also we were looking forward to a drink in the pub after our days out but it was shut on the two days we stayed.

Inn with character, tastefully refurbished. Really good quality furnishings, excellent bed, everything clean. Thoughtful addition of cooling fan as the weather was hot. It kept the room more comfortable for sleeping. Good quality continental breakfast and friendly and helpful people. Good, quiet centre for exploring that area. I would have no problem staying there again.

Unfortunately they had no chef but we weren't notified until we checked in. There were no other eateries in the village! The staff allowed us to access cereals for our evening meal!

The room was lovely, so was the pub and beer garden.

When we booked it was because it had a restaurant so we could just relax for the weekend, they never informed us about the restaurant now being closed, so when we arrived tired ,hungry, we had to drive around for 20 mins till we found somewhere to eat, so my husband couldn't relax as we had to keep driving to get lunch and tea over the weekend. Also the mirror is too far from a plug.

Room very clean and comfortable - breakfast was very nice - choice of cereals/toast/teacakes/yoghurts/fruit as well as hot drinks and apple and orange juice. Excellent value for money.
