Mount Battie Inn

We enjoyed our stay very much. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful with dining suggestions. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room!

Very good service, very helpful hosts. However a little pricey for the level of confort (maybe summer prices are higher...)

Terrible experience, needed to check out a day early due to work being complete. Spoke with the General Manager who said no problem I would get a credit for the extra night, but it never got credited on my credit card so I disputed the charge with my credit card company and did not get it successfully challenged.

Loved this place! It had a B&B feel without staying in one main building, which I liked. Plenty of things to do around there, just beautiful!

There was nothing not to like. We were having a reunion with friends we had not seen for over a year and a half. We worried about finding a vacancy at this location, Lincolnville, where the couple would be passing through on their way north from NYC. We booked early enough, but still got the last two rooms for that night. Incredibly hospitable owners, lovely warm welcome. Room very very clean and killer view out to Islesboro. There is traffic noise on Route 1, but we didn't care. Many outdoor seating areas with the view. And the breakfast delivered to the room—she can bake! of muffins and sweet bread was a plus. Coffee makers in the rooms. Their creative way of being a B&B during Covid. Note there are handicapped accessible rooms and ramps in places. Also we got a strong sense that the innkeepers were very accepting people. I'd feel comfortable recommending it to anyone traveling in the area. Extremely good value.

Fantastic place to stay. From the minute we arrived owners and staff greeted us with friendliness and helped us plan our stay. Rooms were extremely clean and well maintained. HIGHLY recommend the Mt. Battie Inn.

Very cute roadside motel.

I really want to give this place a rave review, but I can't. Not yet. Ed and Christine are two of the nicest, hardest working folks I have ever met . You can tell they have put their heart and soul into the place, fixing it up. With a great location , we had a great view of the bay from our window that was lovely. The muffins were delicious and so was the coffee. Unfortunately, their staff was missing when we stayed there... which left it to Christine to do all the room cleaning, which she did well... and our check in time was delayed by 6 hrs. Everything turned out well for us, but there were others who were not as empathetic and cancelled their reservations. I would really like to see this couple finish their repairs, get reliable staff in there and run this motel they way they envisioned they would. I believe it will be a great place for travelers who want a down home and comfortable place to stay. I wish them all the luck in the world !

Even though it was an older facility, it was quaint and very clean with wonderful amenities such as a welcoming gift and homemade delicious pastry goodies on your door each night at 8 pm for either an evening snack or for breakfast!
