Hotel Bonaparte

The hotel is in an excellent location. The hotel rooms are well furnished. The staff is courteous and helpful.

This was my fifth stay at the Auberge. Three times before Covid, once during Covid. Before Covid, the hotel provided an excellent breakfast in its beautiful dining room. During Covid, breakfast was delivered in a basket. I was startled when I checked in this time that breakfast (juice, a piece of stale pastry) was still served in a basket. When I asked why a minimal breakfast was served in a basket, I was told that there were problems hiring staff and other issues. In my opinion, this is a completely unacceptable. The hotel listing says it provides breakfast. It does not provide a satisfactory one. The hotel also requires a guest to complete a form if they wish their room cleaned. In summation, the hotel management is maximizing profit at the expense of its guests. It should be ashamed of its poor conduct. Beware,

The hotel in Montreal was wonderful very clean the staff was very professional and the restaurant on the property was outstanding. We would definitely stay again when we returned to Montreal. The continental breakfast was very good in the bed sheets and pillows are outstanding

The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and a nice blend of old boutique charm and modern conveniences. Overall a really comfortable stay in a lovely hotel.

Lights in the room could be brighter. Hard to read in the evening.

Loved the location and the look of the hotel The only thing negative is the breakfast option. With a wonderful restaurant on the main floor one would think that breakfast could be better than a box with a piece of cake and a bottle of juice at the door in the morning. I understand the expense of the area but at the price of a nights stay the breakfast could be better

Charming hotel in great location . AC was a bit challenging to manage and didn’t work in one the rooms we booked but otherwise it was a good experience

Great location. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The morning snack was nice and enjoyed being able to get coffee from the dining room. Luc was so helpful in getting to the port.

That I had not made prior reservations to eat at the lovely Bonaparte Restaurant. Next time I will do so .
