Hotel Bonaparte

This hotel was an excellent choice for a three night Montreal stay. We checked in with absolutely no problem with a very welcoming and helpful desk clerk. Parking was clearly explained and we were directed to an underground lot about a block away. The room was spotlessly clean, we loved the hardwood floors and exposed brick wall. The room windows were big for plenty of sunlight and the king sized bed was very comfortable. A Keurig coffee machine is provided along with some coffee pods. The room also had a large bathroom with a rain head shower. Housekeeping did an excellent job. A small breakfast of bread or a croissant/scone with fruit, juice and cheese was left hanging in a basket outside our door every morning between 7-8am. Very nice touch. The Hotel Bonaparte is located in Old Montreal about a block or so away from the main street with numerous shops and restaurants. We were able to walk to numerous sites including the Bell Centre for a Canadiens hockey game. This will be our go to spot in Montreal from now on. Highly recommend.

The location was fantastic. The hotel was clean and very quaint.

It was very noisy. On the 4th floor you could hear people talking throughout the night when we were trying to sleep.

The location is perfect. Walk to everything…the old port, downtown, Just for Laughs festival! The breakfast boxes are just perfect. You can go get coffee in the lobby every morning for free. Beds are very comfortable. Our room was a bit small but we didn’t spend too much time there. We had a drink at the bar but did not eat there. Would return for sure.

Location was ideal for me in Old Town and convenient to so many sights, as well as the Metro. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was immaculate and fairly spacious, including the bathroom.

Le petit dej. Aucun intérêt. Un café, un jus et une mini viennoiserie. On aurait préféré que le petit déjeuner ne soit pas proposé.

Excellent location post cruise. 8 minute on foot from terminal. In old Montreal near very good dining, souvenirs & underground access. Exceptional service. Desk manager, Luc very helpful with recommendations. Proactive. Room very spacious for 3 adults. Beautifully appointed. Stay here again? Yes! Recommend without hesitation!

Exquisite boutique hotel in the historic district of Montreal. Great service, comfortable/clean/large room, and excellent restaurant onsite. Easy to walk to all other areas of the city. Highly recommend.

Restaurant was wonderful and constantly busy which says a lot about how the locals feel about it.

Rooms are small by U.S. standards.
