The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed and very central to the township

Not giving all the information needed at check in, was not told about check out times. When we asked for more towels we were told it was $6 for each towel what they failed to mention was that it cost for each day with them so for 3 days this would end up costing $45. Our dinner took almost an hour and a half with no mention of wait times. Breakfast we rung down to order then later they came up and said they couldn’t do that and we had to come down, then when we came down we asked if the cooked breakfast was free and they said yes but we were charged for this. Additionally I preordered a $60 cheese board for our 5 year anniversary and we got a lot of cheese with no crackers to put it on so we had to go across to the four square to buy the crackers ourselves.

Where it was situated was excellent. Lively older style hotel.

No lifts.

Convenience and really helpful staff. Clean rooms, all necessary room amenities supplied, very warm.

Couldn’t get the TV to operate, only a few channels were available which was ok as we were out a lot, but if it was wet we may have liked. Heaters might need new plugs.

Great location. Welcoming staff. Nice meal and drinks too.

The young man at the front desk was super helpful. The fire was blazing which was the main reason we decided to stay. The happy hour was also a reason we decided to book a room for the night.
