Four Seasons Resort Langkawi

Four Seasons Langkawi is an amazing property on a beautiful location. It is picturesque all around. The best we have experienced so far. What we found more impressive than the property is the quality of the staff. They truly exemplified what superb hospitality is, consistent with what I expected of Four Seasons. The resort management, the front desk, restaurant staff, the house keeping personnel; there were no details left forgotten during our five day stay there. From the moment we were picked up from the airport, to checking in, and to our departure, we were well taken care of with keen personal attention while getting our privacy. We usually go to a different Four Seasons resort each year to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The experience we had this year at their Langkawi property was phenomenal. We are considering coming back here every year instead; if schedule permits. Michael, director of rooms; Suyash, restaurant and bar manager; Esther, host in the restaurant; Yash, Abbass and Charity at the front desk; Aipi, the geo naturalist; Rosli, our driver, and the rest of the staff of Four Seasons Langkawi; thank you for creating a moment so unforgettable. Can’t say enough about Michael and his staff. We will be back.

Wife & I stayed 3 nights in Feb. 1st room the Air con broke 3 times so the manager moved us to a beach villa. Big room, very nice except for the lizards, ants & roaches who joined us (and our water got cut off). Staff are really great and Mr Arvind the duty manager went out of his way to do as much as he could for us. But the rooms feel tired, dated and showing their age (built 2005?). Example: All the doors on the beach villa had big gaps under them allowing insects, especially lizards & ants by the million, to wander in. If you are a smoker, then it's worth you knowing that Expedia let us book a smoking room........Four Seasons in Langkawi do not have any smoking rooms. They have rooms with an outside smoking area (balcony). To be fair, the room was huge, it was reasonably cool during the day and night without having to run a noisy A/C on full blast (even though it's around 35 degrees during the day). If you want to sit on the beach and get some sun in peace & quiet, this is the place.The beach goes for miles, the sand is clean (maybe a bit sharp here & there), the water is clean and there is no fight for sunbeds as it's not overrun with people. To sum up our experience, I would say the staff at the hotel can't be faulted, very friendly & helpful. However, we were underwhelmed by the accommodation. Sorry to say, we won't be going back any time soon.

Fantastic family holiday at the Four Seasons Langkawi. The entire staff from when you enter the resort all the way through dining, room service, facilities, the Rhu Bar, management and tour guides are super helpful, friendly and have a great spirit. Our only regret wasn’t staying the entire week instead of four days. Great time and hope we can stay again in the future.

Fantastic resort, great staff, and the adult pool is awesome

Impeccable and absolutely spotless.

This resort is located in a magnificent, on the beach, location with fantastic gardens and facilities. We were disappointed with the lack of building maintenance, poor quality food and overpriced food and beverages. We did not believe that we received value for money and that this resort did not live up to the Four seasons group standard that we are familiar with. The airport pick up was seamless, welcoming and courteous and we did get great service from the staff. Our one Spa experience was exceptional.

Staying with monkeys and lizards for 850 dollars per night

Sehr weitläufige Anlage direkt am Strand. Gut gepflegt. Wir haben eine nicht ausgebuchte Woche erwischt und waren quasi alleine am Strand und Erwachsenenpool. Der Pool ist sehr toll mit Essensservice. Ganz liebes zuvorkommendes Personal. Leider ist das Essen im Hotel extrem teuer und man braucht ins die umlegenden Städtchen inmer ein Taxi.
