Inn at Depot Hill

Breakfast was good, but vegan should be an option, not the norm.

The Valencia room is very nice. But impossible to control water temperature while using the shower!

We stayed in the Paris room. It was spacious and quiet, even when we had the door opened to the garden patio (common area). The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good, as well as the evening snack and cookies.

It was clean, beautiful, and a safe area for travel. The owner was an excellent communicator and I am looking forward to returning. The Paris room was very well decorated and had such an elegant vibe. The fireplace was so beautiful and faces the sitting room and your bedroom area. Also, the mattress was a very good quality. Breakfast brought to your room in the morning was a good touch. Along with ample parking for guests.

Location was superior. Wonderful to park the car and walk down the secret steps to Capitola village. But don’t expect the Inn to give you ant info on that.

Innkeeper was really checked out. Basically in absentia. I wanted to be informed of other rooms availability after a three night and he was no where in sight, I had to use booking.com. Rooms are unheated, they don’t tell you this and they can’t even bother to haul out a heater and warm the room before arrival. The Valencia room had the MOST inaccessible and dangerous bathing setup I have ever encountered. Plus the Valencia isn’t even in the main house and they don’t tell you this. Really awful communication at this lace. No one even bothered to inform me of he Wi-Fi password.
