Fabulous location. Wonderful pool

A beautiful small hotel located on the corner of the beach with a bustling shopping street to one side and the beach road on the other. Rooms are simple but adequate. Our room on the ground floor had sliding doors leading onto the pool area. The pool was beautiful with trees & plants hanging around it's perimeter. It was a tranquil place to spend a few hours. Breakfast is a simple affair but enough to get the day started. The views onto the beach at breakfast are beautiful. Walking onto the main road filled with eateries, shops etc is a bonus. I would definitely come back to stay for a few days.

Location is perfect if you want to stay in the heart of Aonang! We were so relaxed about going to the beach or heading out for a meal or taking long boat to Railey beach etc etc… Aonang beach is very chill and with great view! However as the hotels location is very central the bars live music is nonstop everynight so beware of this situation. As for the hotel- definitely needs upgrade especially the food and dining! Breakfast and dining I would rate 2 so dont get your hopes up about lunch or dinner at the restaurant. The rooms too need upgrade, however we were okey with the sliding doors coming out because we were enjoying our holiday. However hotel needs to get a hold of this issue once and for all. Overall we enjoyed the hotel and pool area. Location is what rates this hotel high! But if you ask me if Id go back, I would probably say yes!!!

Property is in great location, the problem is the property itself is horrible. The rooms are old and outdated and inconsistent. Water pressure one minute super hot one minute super cold. Showers Don’t be fooled by the picture on the TV about the food that is not what you’re getting,, We ate dinner there once because I wasn’t feeling good to go out and the food was horrible I mean, you would think you’re in Thailand how hard would it be get some pineapple rice and it taste good but this was the complete opposite ,, The pizza was dry and dusty ,, As I said great location, but the hotel itself is in poor condition

Old outdated hotel. Noisy personnel slamming on doors all through the morning. The photos are much better than what the property really is. Location is good though and breakfast buffet almost on the beach, are the two positive facts. Need renovation urgently

Wonderful and friendly service, smack in the centre of town yet quiet, breakfast facing the beach, mature landscaping, firm and comfortable bed and linens, reasonably priced, currently being upgraded. Except for some slippery and sharp-edged tiles, what’s there not to like?

Lovely staff walking around the passenger's needs. Very convenient location easy accessibility for everything. The maintenance of property deserve an upgrade but still been comfortable and clean.

This is our second visit to The Phra Nang Inn and it will not me our last. Our first was in 2019 , pre - Covid and we were impressed with the place then and decided to stay again on our next visit to Ao Nang. The Inn was the very first hotel and restaurant on the beach in 1987 and the architecture reflects the date. It is simple with a heap of charm. A tremendous pool in the centre with mature trees and palms. The staff are the best. Always a friendly smile and very helpful. Since 2019 there has been massive developments all around this original gem but it still stands out as not just another modern hotel planted on a beachfront and charging top dollar for the privilege. We love the place and will return again ....

The property was decent, definitely aging. The room had enough space, but the bathrooms need improved cleaning or updating. We had a room on the first floor, street side so it was slightly noisy, but we were there for only 1 night. THe staff was friendly, but not very helpful when we needed directions around.
