Kamari Beach Hotel

Stayed here in September 2025, Great hotel, staff great! Reception was a little tricky to find at first, taxi dropped us on the road outside the building but that's shit at night so you have to walk down the side (car park) as though going into the hallways of apartments and then you see signs to reception which is in the heart of the resort. We stayed in room 116 ground floor, was a tad noisy due to stairs backing on to the wall but earplug's sorted that out. on doorstep restaurants/bars on promenade and back street! I would recommend sea shoes as it's pretty rocky getting into the sea (but that's the same all round the volcanic island) WiFi good, even at the beach beds. Beach towels at reception for €5, return and get deposit back. Would definitely stay again.

The breakfasts were very good and the food was always fresh and well prepared. The drink selection was good. The staff did a great job of making sure all of the serving trays were well-supplied.

Paradise Lost at Kamari Beach Hotel We stayed here seven years ago and loved it, but this time was a disaster. The air conditioning in our sea-view room barely worked, the hallway reeked of smoke, and the water in the bathroom stopped running altogether. After repeated complaints, we were moved to another room where the AC and water functioned—but the shower didn’t drain and we had to shower ankle-deep in water. What made it worse was the management. Every issue was met with excuses or blame-shifting. When I asked for a refund for the difference in price for the downgraded room we were forced to accept, the manager refused. Sadly, Kamari Beach Hotel is no longer the charming oasis it once was. Save yourself the frustration and book at Afrodite Hotel next door, or any other hotel in Kamari.
