Plunge Beach Resort

Right on the docks for fishing…..

The little beach was full of seaweed and unseeable! Didn’t use the pool…..it looked fine!

The staff were friendly. It had a nice location to the beach and local shopping and dining.

There was a horrible smell in our building. The bed was rock hard.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Umbrellas were not available for the beach on 3 of 4 days we were there. Winds were what I would consider light, 10-15 mph, and ALL other properties along the LBTS beach had their umbrellas out, but not the Plunge! Their umbrellas don’t have screws to hold them in the sand, so they won’t put them out if there is any wind!!! Bungalow king room was decent, but no view whatsoever and furniture was lacking. There was NO closet, no vanity in the bathroom, the only lamp in the room was a small handmade lamp next to the bed. Air conditioning was good, relatively quiet, but ceiling fan controls didn’t work for speed, simply on and off, luckily it was on low. Bungalow pool was very nice and peaceful. Main pool was large and very busy. Bar was really fun, but food and drinks were a bit limited and expensive, though not too bad.
