This was a really weird experience. We got a smaller room than booked upon arrival. There was nothing we could do about it; other people had gotten our more expensive, larger room with roof terrace. Those people held parties there every afternoon and evening with lots of people from other hotels and especially very loud music. The staff did nothing about it... we had to ask ourselves if we could get money back for the cheaper room. The house is like a hostel with a lot of very loud people.

The staff were very polite and most helpful, they helped to arrange a taxi to take us over the pass as it was blocked for cyclists. We stayed in the guest house away from the main hotel as it suited our budget. We were the only ones staying there and we had the loft. Had the best sleep of our trip so far!

Everything from a friendly welcome to a delicious breakfast (in Hotel Arlberg) was great. The rooms are super clean and the bed comfortable, WiFi works well and the house has a lovely charm. Great value for money.

In the booking it didn't say that you share a bathroom. There was one bathroom/shower for the whole floor. The shared bathroom was kept clean. Getting the key for the room wasn't easy because you have to go to a different house to get it which wasn't communicated well. For the hikers: No bakery's in town
