District Hotel

Looking for a hotel in the middle DC and don’t need any thrills? You found your spot! Very walkable neighborhood, safe at night, and close to a lot of great restaurants and activities. Room is barebones, but clean. AC is COLD, I woke up cold in the July! Great for the price point, will stay here again when in DC.

It was ok, but it was smaller than the pictures and not as nice. You can definitely tell the pictures have been edited. Worth $100 a night, but no more than that. Upon request, they did have toothbrushes for us, so that was nice.

It was an amazing experience. The comfort is incredibly. And the staff always willing to help.

Great property. Only problem is that restrooms in this property are designed for kids not for adults. Overall room was very clean and comfortable.

I found 2 bugs crawling underneath the sheers when I pulled them back. I recorded a video of the bug and showed the front desk clerk and requested a change of room. The gentleman called a manager and was asked to go investigate the bug first. He checked my room and the bugs were gone off on the mattress. He tried to convince me that maybe it was a flying bug. I show him the video again and the bug did not have any wings. The gentleman then say he would switch my room.

Basic box room with a bed. It will be fine if you need the place to just crash in the night and leave. The reason for the two star is the access. If you need access after midnight you need to carry some luck. The front door is not manned always. I had to stay out close to an hour as there was none to open. Other than check in at set times, property advertise as 24 hours access though which was not true in my case

My reservation was not correct and I was not able to stay at the property. Won’t be using hotels.com again.

The price was right. The room accommodations were fine but the air conditioning was not working. For the money, it was a good deal.
