Very nice location for our overnight before we headed to Italy. In close proximity to many good restaurants. Modern upmarket B&B.

Pillows were flat and uncomfortable, but the bed was comfy. You share the B&B with other guests, so if your room does not have a bathroom, you need to leave your room and venture in the hallways. I think the B&B used to have beautiful facilities, but due to financial reasons, not anymore. Bar, breakfast and restaurant. So theoretically you are renting a room. And nothing more

The design was great, clean and parking in front of the door

Everything was good!

I reserved a double room unit with a double bed and bunk bed and private bathroom according to the description on booking. It was a bedroom with double bed only, with a publicly accessible bathroom in the hallway and the bunk bed in a different room down the hallway-everything wide open to everyone who can enter the building, felt very exposed and insecure or like my privacy was violated bc anyone could come up the stairs at any time while I was using the bathroom in the night. It’s a personal preference according to my comfort level in the culture I was raised and not an arrangement I would have agreed to willingly. I reserved a room with two beds and bathroom, not the arrangement I got. I only found out later after I needed to get to a laptop to translate a long explanation by the manager of how the rooms would be arranged from German to English and by then it was barely too late to cancel. I wrote him, he basically gaslighted me saying it was my fault and it’s only my problem and everyone else in the world would be thrilled about having two separate rooms. Some people are just unevolved narcissists in the customer service department and it’ll take them 20 years to catch up with the rest of the world in that way. In the meantime, he did the typical German thing of trying to make me feel badly for speaking up about how I was wronged and lied to in order to smoke screen the fact that it was in fact his fault. Its similar to going to a restaurant and ordering a veggie burger bc you don’t eat beef and they bring you a hamburger and say “oh sorry the description on the menu was wrong, something must be wrong with you for not wanting the hamburger you idiot”. Just an opinion not fact and it’s still who I am as a person and it’s my choice and there was no need to belittle me because I just didn’t sit back and take it?🤷🏻‍♀️ so yeah, the only thing he did a great job at was making me feel like crap for his mistake- great job
