South Hill Lodge

Free breakfast runs from 9 to noon. I don't normally wait until 9 to eat breakfast, and in this case, we needed to get to an event by 8:30. That means leaving the site to have breakfast. Lots of smokers hanging around outside of the front door, so you have to breathe all of it in while coming into the building. Not a great look. The room next door had a singing contest all night long. Again, not great.

there's no security at all and people walking around all time of the night drunk or high on meth banging on doors slamming doors yelling around and nothing gets done about it people smoking meth in all the rooms and strair wells I wouldn't recommend it to anyone as the halls get bear maced cops showing up and people knocking on doors all hours of the night

Bed wasclean and bathroom soaps were new. I had no towels, table was dirty, and all floors were dirty. With a non smoking floor it reeked of smoke. Restaurant should be open earlier and on time would be nice too.

Disliked alot of things. Food was disgusting! Cooked us raw sausages for breakfast,! Long wait for food! No Ice machine! Hallways smell!! Lots of gang affiliated situations happening here! Loud at night! Stained linen and filthy rooms! Staff are rude! (Housekeepers) and very unclean building!

I liked nothing about the hotel. It should not be in business and health inspection should come and check it. The hotel smells alcohol mixed with cigarettes smoke very unhealthy place

Horrible place to try stay at! Would not give a refund after checking in and noticing that our beds were not made and stained every colour you can think of, place smells like death, and intoxicated people standing outside and roaming the hallways. There is also glass broken everywhere outside. Definitely do not recommend staying here, very unhealthy just to be breathing the same air in this place, rooms are cheap for a reason so it’s my fault for even attempting to stay at this place but it was the only hotel with rooms available; and now I know why. Would give 0 stars if possible!
