Jupiter Hotel

My friend and I chose this hotel for ghe proximity to Revolution Hall where we were going to a concert. The original Jupiter was in our price range, although the Jupiter Next next door looked much nicer. The original looks like a travelodge or motel 6 that has been updated and renovated with modern furniture and finishes. Everything was very clean and tidy. The room had two comfortable beds, a small round table with two chairs and a long counter that served as a desk with another chair. There is no closet, but there is a shelf with a place to hang your clothes. The room did not have an iron but I called the front desk and staff member came and delivered an ironing board and an iron. We opted for the garage parking, which was $40 per night, which felt more secure in that neighborhood. If you're staying in this area, I would recommend this hotel as a very nice budget friendly accommodation.

If you feel like staying in a tiny apartment with people building ikea furniture all around you all night this is the spot for you. Room was very clean which was nice and the surrounding neighborhood was walkable and fun.. but the walls were thin and you could easily hear every footstep and conversation of neighbors and especially above you. Do all you can to get an upper room at this motel. There are no real staff on premise instead you needed to walk to another hotel for check-in and such. This motel seemed to attract some weird guests who were up all night which perhaps explains the branded green condom they prominently displayed on the nightstand instead an alarm clock... They responded to this review on another site and their defense was basically said it was a budget option for people who liked to live louder and a playful sex-positive atmosphere. Well ok but that should be the first thing you read when you view this place for a booking. Not said afterwards. I’ve stayed in plenty of true budget options and while they did look much worse I slept better.

Jupiter NEXT is the.modern building. We paid to upgrade to Jupiter NEXT, and our room was very modern, comfortable and clean room. We checked in late and front desk (Andrew) was exceptional helpful. Hotel main doors are locked at night and needed to be "buzzed in." Hotel security makes his rounds to check on things.

The entrance to underground parking was hard to find (located next door at the older section of the hotel) Front Desk had alerted hotel security to keep a lookout, so it was a great help.

It's cute enough. The rooms were nice and then lobby was cute.

I didn't like that it was called a "hotel" when really, it's a motel. It appeared much better in photos than in real life.

Great location. Room was clean. Toilet paper ran out and was quickly replaced when asked. Staff was cordial.

This was a bare bones experience as far as the room. The several chairs were hard plastic and uncomfortable for sitting. No mini fridge or coffee service. No spare outlets were easily accessible for charging devices.

Great location close enough to the convention center. Easy to get across the river to Powell's. Appreciated the David Bowie portrait on the wall. Quiet enough considering the location (though glad I chose a 2nd story room). Let me stow my luggage for the day on the last day of my conference.

Water in shower could be hotter.
