Die Lage war super, einerseits sehr nah zur Ortsmitte andererseits in 15 Minuten ist man schon auf dem gegenüberliegenden Hügel von wo eine erste Wanderung gestartet werden kann. Bemerkenswert war auch die Sauberkeit in der Wohnung, die wir so selten in Gästehäusern oder Hotels gesehen haben. So fühlt man sich von Anfang an wie zu Hause. Das zusätzliche Gäste-WC ist für eine Familie auch von Vorteil.

Kleinigkeiten kann ich da nur nennen wie ein fehlendes Schneidebrett.

The host, Margit, made sure that we have the keys from the lockerbox, despite our arrival late in the evening. The room had mineral water, small treats, a fridge and a clean bathroom.

The walls were far from soundproof, so shower and walking noises from other rooms were easy to hear.

Der Weg zur Innenstadt und zum Bahnhof sind gut zu Fuß zu bewältigen. Nachdem mein Zimmer durch ein Versehen nicht fertig war, bekam ich sofort ein anderes sehr schönes Zimmer angeboten. Das Bett war super bequem. Der Check in ist mit Schlüsselboxen sehr unproblematisch.

Breakfast was not included and due to the public holiday and weekend the recommended Bakery was closed - This did not matter -as I grew up in Oberkirch speak the local dialect and German - and had a delicious breakfast in town -
