Caravelle Hotel St Croix

The location was great… right on the boardwalk!

The elevator was broken and I had to carry our suitcases up and down the stairs

Staff was helpful and friendly

The hotel is in a great location if you were interested in staying in the Christiansted area. It's located right by the Caribbean Sea and there are many restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel restaurant was actually very good. We were able to walk to the nearby national park and explore the town. The only downside was that the elevator was out of commission during our stay (all 3 days) and we had to carry our suitcase up to the 3rd floor. Not sure what they would have done if someone was handicapped or they had a large suitcase. The pool was ok. No free breakfast but there are many options nearby. Would stay here again if we came to the island again. The room was clean and the bathroom was not too small. Taxi was $30 for 2 people from the airport.

This place from the outside throws you off I was a little nervous but entering it has a lovely lobby and the rooms are nice and clean. All the staff were polite and accomodating the entire time. I felt comfortable and safe travelling alone for the 1st time. Literally steps away from boardwalk and tourist stores. Loved it and I will be booking there when I come again!

It was in a nice area. Alot of history around.

A.C. kept cutting off for a min back on for 2 and back off, so it's hard to sleep with it going back and forth thought it would be a little bigger but it was good I would stay again but you really need to have a car.

Older property right on the waterfront with direct boardwalk access. Rum Runner restaurant on site, with a number of other restaurants in walking distance.

Very nice property. Many places to eat within a 3-5 minute walking distance. Rather tough to park a car, especially for a place where you really must have a car
