The Lodge at Rolling Hills Casino

Great stopping point

The hotel was clean and the staff was very welcoming, but from the minute I walked into the lobby, the overwhelming smell of smoke overpowered me. Even though I was in a nonsmoking room, the smell of smoke was prevalent. That is my biggest complaint with the hotel, but I guess I should have figured a property attached to a casino would be smoky.

We didn't spend much time in the room or lobby, but our experience with staff, etc. was very nice. They were friendly and courteous and the lobby, room and surroundings were clean and well cared for. The reason for my "average" rating was due to the lack of noise suppression while in the room. Every door that opened or closed in the wing I was on could be heard as if it were the door to my room. Every conversation taking place in the hallway was heard as if it were inside my room. And due to the casino being open 24 hours, these noises happen throughout the night.

Rolling Hills Lodge was a very comfortable stay. The rooms were great. They are remodeling the lobby so check in occurs in the casino. The rooms were great. Large spaces with luxurious beds and bedding. The walk in shower was spectacular. The only downside was the cigarette smoke smell. But it's a casino, so i guess thats to be expected.

The casino is under construction. Very noisy. I let the staff know that they should not put anyone on ground floor due to being noisy. Also the casino was not clean for covid.

The property was under construction and noisy work early in the morning that woke us up. No restaurant was open for breakfast as advertised on website. Way over priced for what they are.

Our stay was okay. The Lobby is part of the Casino, awkward! The room was okay. Very noisy on the second floor because of guests above as well as outside access. Fridge just as last time doesn't keep stuff cold.

The place was under construction and it did not specify that on line. The steak house is closed for renovations and that too was missing from the website. The girl at check in was new and when she asked for help her coworker seemed annoyed to help her. The only good thing was the rock and brew place to eat. The food and the service there was great but we were not told by the front desk people that we needed reservations when we inquired where to eat.

The front desk will quote you WAY more than Hotels.com. For fairness for everyone, they are definitely NOT following the COVID “rules” which is annoying while other companies do. The prices for the room would be okay if the Casino was bier, followed the rules etc.
