The 'Direttore', in other words the Manager, was a rude and difficult man. From the word go he was extremely rude to us and pretended he didn't understand English which, but it was very obvious he understood perfectly well!!! He was just being rude and arrogant! We were traveling with my extremely well behaved, well traveled dog. It is advertised as a Pet Friendly hotel. Never have we been treated so badly. He refused us entry into the restaurant with our dog (we paid for half board in what was supposed to be a Pet Friendly hotel), and when we asked if we could at least eat outside on the terrace, he refused. There was absolutely no reason for this, he was just being difficult. He then insisted that we eat in our bedrooms and the next day we received a call in our rooms from his assisaant saying that if we had our food brought to our rooms by any of the staff we would be charged Eur15 to bring it to the 1st floor. We told his assistant that this was ridiculous and that this was unacceptable so he retracted his original demand. (The food was actually terrible, so, disgusted by his attitude and by the food, I forfeited my meals). When we came to check out, he charged me almost Eur100 for having the dog stay for 3 days. This was the only place I had to pay for my dog in the whole of my holiday in Italy, and when I once or twice paid for her in other countries it was never more than Eur10 - Eur15 per day. He basically charged us eur15 for room service just the same, only he put it under a different charge. The 'Direttore's' attitude and behiour was rude and ridiculous to say the least. And by the way, the rooms are stuck in the 70s and are in desperate need of an upgrade. The only saving grace was the young waiter, Leonardo, who was extremely kind and patient with us.

Staff was friendly, helpful and genuinely care for their guests. The second night (Friday) there was extremely loud music from the restaurant next door for 2h straight and it was past 23.00h, the room was bouncing. I informed the reception and the staff immediately went out to the restaurant to ask them to stop the music. The next day absolutely no music or noise coming from the restaurant so I appreciate the quick resolution and firm stance from the Hotel staff and the director. Room was well taken care of every day. Location very convenient walking distance from supermarket and center of town, and good driving distance to main attractions in the area. Free parking on location. Cozy and big room typical ski style with plenty of storage space.

Hotel is a bit dated and the bed and pillows were not very comfortable to us although I can not pinpoint what was the issue, we just couldn't sleep very well in it. Food quality could improve but did the job for and after long days hiking. On the expensive side.

De parkeergelegenheid die er was, was heel erg prettig ivm onze auto. Daarnaast was onze kamer erg netjes en altijd erg goed opgemaakt, heel fijn! De kamer was ruim en goed geïsoleerd. Hij werd zelfs in de avond nogmaals gedaan. Het avondeten dat erbij zat was elke avond erg lekker en gevarieerd. Ook de locatie van het hotel was goed, op loopafstand van alles!

Er is geen airconditioning, maar dat was voor ons niet nodig en we hadden het raam gewoon open wat prima was. Daarnaast is een punt wel dat er bijna niemand van het personeel Engels spreekt, wat het lastig maakt tijdens het diner of ontbijt. Ook duurt bestellen daardoor lang bij het diner. Waar het diner erg lekker en gevarieerd was, was het ontbijt degelijk maar eentonig.
