20 min to Taormina

The hotel has seen better times, the rooms are renovated but balconies are not well maintained. There is a lot of food at breakfast but at subpar quality, eggs are severely overcooked (looking grey). The breakfasts restaurant is supposed to have outdoor area but it is fully closed by the windows. We were there in June, the beach restaurant was closed, leaving only very simple pizzeria for lunch. Beach beds and beach towels are supposed to be paid for extra. But we did not like the beach and did not even spend time there. Best choice was moving around, going to Taormina and Savoca, not staying in the hotel.

Das Frühstücksbuffet im Upgrade-Bereich war sehr lecker und deutlich ruhiger als im Hauptrestaurant. Die gemütliche Atmosphäre dort hat uns besonders gut gefallen.

Die Anlage ist jedoch sehr gross und weitläufig, was nicht ganz unserem Geschmack entsprach. Zudem gab es zeitweise einen unangenehmen Geruch nach Kanalisation, der zwar mit chemischen Mitteln behoben wurde.

Großzügige gepflegte Anlage mit schönen Bäumen. Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Abendunterhaltung. Toller großer Pool.

Der Kiesstrand ist kostenpflichtig und nicht so schön wie der in Giardini Naxos. Lage abseits der Stadt. Wenig Ablageflächen und für den Preis zu kleines Zimmer.
