Horrible WiFi No air conditioning Roof top bar felt like cave; could not see street

What a gem in the heart of downtown! I will never forget the feeling of walking out the front door in the morning and being greeted by the perfect view of those gorgeous mountains! Our room was classy and comfortable with a very nice large bathroom which I was not expecting in a building of this historic age. The restaurant is delicious, great drinks on the rooftop bar with a great view! I love that coffee and tea are available early in the morning and I also love the “secret” door to the saloon next door! I walked to the river trail every morning and enjoyed all the hiking trails within walking distance. If you want to be close to the heart of it all, this is the place for you! I loved every moment of my stay here!

What a beautiful surprise this hotel is!!!! I was expecting an old , run down place.... it is a well maintained, historical, esthetically pleasing hotel with lots of history, old time charm, very friendly staff...and a rooftop bar !!! Our room was a luxury comfort, space and pleasantly smelling oasis ...we really enjoyed our time in New Sheridan. There is free coffee and tea in the morning, and you can buy breakfast if interested. The location is great, just in the middle of all and still we did not feel as it was busy, loud or crowded.... I would love to come back in the future!!!

I liked everything.

A beautiful old building, very quiet, well maintained and exceptionally comfortable. The room was very comfortable with plenty of space. A free parking pass was provided for nearby streets.

Location is prime when visiting Telluride. Yeh staff, specifically the manager and a specific friendly bubbly waitress/host. These specific people were fantastic.

The price but Telluride is not a cheap place to stay.
