Crested Butte Hostel

Terrific location, right next to most convenient shuttle stop to mountain.

It was a beautiful hostel with very nice amenities. Plenty of space to cook and hangout in common area with a fireplace. And the shuttle stop to the mountain was 200m away and comes by every 15 minutes. Extremely convenient location!

I didn’t love that the room was either hot or cold. But i could open the window and use the space heater to balance the temperature

Sally was wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating. Everyone in the hostel staying was very friendly and personable.

We really enjoyed everything but if I have to pick out a negative, it would be that it was bit warm at night in our room but we would still go back again!

Location was great, and amenities exceeded expectations to be honest. Particularly for something classified as a 'hostel', the cleanliness and quality of the facilities were a very pleasant surprise. Would definitely stay here again, kudos to the proprietors.

Room heating could have used a bit of balance for our mid-Jan stay. It was either too hot (with provided ceramic heater) or too cold (without it), wound up being a bit tricky to strike the right balance. Eventually got there, but feels like there might be a better way to address this by the property.
