It was very nice for a one night stay

The bed wasn't very comfy

For our family vacation this year we took a more southern route, to avoid Nashville and Atlanta traffic. Drury inn has become our brand of choice as of late. Having never been to Birmingham before I blindly booked this hotel, with hopes that it would not disappoint. We chose this location because it was right off the highway and easy to get back on the next day to continue on. We booked directly through the hotel itself. We arrived around 8pm after a long day on the road. Ms Lavonda, the assistant manager, was beyond nice and helpful checking us in. The hotel was very nice and clean, room was very nice. Breakfast the next morning was very nice. There is a Sam’s club and Walmart across the main road which was super convenient. We stayed here on our way back too, and had good experience also. We ended up getting randomly upgraded which was a bonus! Would definitely recommend this property! They do allow pets at this location so we saw a few random dogs, for those who want to know. I would say any negative review about this property would be an isolated incident and not a reflection of the property or staff as a whole.
