Fantastic setup for solo photographer to base themselves on the Isle of Skye. Jim and Pauline were so friendly and accommodating.

The breakfasts was really good. Parking was easy and very handy. The hosts were very friendly and helped make our stay pleasant. Beds were very comfy. Very handy to Portree itself.

The room was a little small, with not quite enough space to put luggage. The room heater was set a bit warm the first night (I think they overcompensated for the near freezing temperature outside). However, once we mentioned it the next morning they adjusted the setting and we slept better the 2nd night

Very nice room #5. Real comfortable and great bed. Breakfast with personal touch. Bit “short” on parking space unless the guest know to park a bit closer to each other. Parking closer to the B&B “behind” one can count on a very unfriendly owner. No wonder he had been left without customers.

Breakfast was amazing, simple and very authentic. You could feel the love and care put into it. Facilities were extremely clean and very compact. The property managers/owners were charming.

I did feel like it was a b&b where I had to mince around a little because of how clean and quiet it was (floorboards do creak), and the walls can be rather thin with guests in the other rooms. You absolutely cannot eat anything messy or soupy in the rooms (rules) but I also felt there wasn't a common space to do so if I brought back food.
