Springhill Suites by Marriott Morgantown

Staff was very helpful.

When we arrived in our first room the thermostat was broken, maintenance came and replaced the wall thermostat but the air would work. All it did was blow hit air. Maintenance came several times to fix but the room ended up at 79° when they offered us a new room. Due to limited vacancy we could not obtain a two full bed room that reserved. We went to the 2nd room which the air was not functioning properly there either. In which were advised to operate the air unit with a screwdriver. I immediately declined this room and by the time we got to the third room it was 10:30pm we had to move several times and we had to wake early the next day for my daughters sport event. I was promised management would contact me the next day. They did not, nor did they ever contact me. I will not recommend this place what so ever

Vent blew black particles onto the bed, outlet in bathroom didn’t work, tub faucet and shower ran at the same time so standing water in the tub while showering

Good stay

The breakfast buffet was nice to have, but very average. Everything was stale. Staff was super helpful and friendly.

Great stay, but needs a trash can in toilet room for the ladies

this was hotel was dirty , staff is not very friendly, especially the manager and the front desk personnel, am food was good, cleaning people nice I dont recommend this place it is not convenient and it is in an retail area that is very crowded , the parking lot was not great, the pool was not working whcih we were told about , the hotel common area was dirty , they make stuff up and I think everyone should look for other options

Overall it was very nice stay. Clean room, staff is very friendly, and breakfast was good and I like the 24x7 coffee. Indoor swimming pool was out of service, the hot tub was out of service, and the laundry service was out of service with no mention of it while booking.

I picked hotel compared to others for hot tub but after I checked in found out that both the pool and hot tub were out of service. They suggested I drive to another property in the freezing sleet. Bedding was extremely thin and room was freezing. Had a hard time finding thermostat. It is hidden behind Tv but couldn’t be moved from 68 so did not sleep well as too cold. Very noisy in the am. Disappointing for the price.
