Very comfortable bedroom Breakfast was lovely Dinner in the restaurant was also lovely

There is very limited parking at this hotel. We had to leave the car across in the town centre, which took us a half hour between finding the town centre, getting a space and because the shopping centre was closed we had to walk back the long way. While we appreciate that management dealt with this complaint swiftly amd agreeing to reimburse us for the costs, it was the inconvenience of it that was more frustrating than the cost. They were hosting an event and seem to prioritise that over the guests who are actually staying at the hotel. Dinner is advertised on the website as being served until 9:30pm. When we arrived at 8:45pm we were completely rushed and barely given an opportunity to look at the menu as we were told the kitchen was closing. At 11pm the bar staff told us they were no longer making cocktails, which was extremely disappointing. The bar was fairly empty but plenty of staff. Apart from the staff at the breakfast, overall our experience was disappointing at this hotel and we found the service to be very poor. There is also no working air con in the room which made it very stuffy.

Staff barely pass as polite. Room was poor. Ripped carpet, broken tiles. Didnt feel clean. You could just about see the river, from a river view room. Kept awake the whole night with party downstairs. One lad in the bar all night. Wont be back

Hotel room very cold .Door stopper in ensuite a trip hazard. . I like a pot of hot coffee a breakfast time in preference to machine coffee.
