Newtown Park Hotel

My sister and I were very impressed with the quality of the hotel, the extremely friendly service of all working in the hotel and the customer focused approach both online and face to face.

We stayed as a couple on our round-Ireland trip. The Maldron Wexford was clean, relaxing, and the staff were amazing. It was a busy May bank holiday weekend when we arrived but the restaurant staff did an amazing job and the food was great. We had an evening meal which was delicious and took advantage of the breakfast which had a great selection. The room was clean and the beds were super comfortable. I wish we were staying a little longer to explore Wexford and the hotel would be a great base for a few days but our one night was very nice.

It was just ok , pool was not very clean , my bed and pillow were quite uncomfortable, my wife found it the same. Hotel could do with some attention inside and out , lockers in gym were very poor , disappointed overall

Good stay, good location on the edge of wexford and the staff were friendly

Room was clean and fine for what I wanted however, when I arrived I sked about calling my friends to let me know I hd arrived safely and though there were telephones in the room I was told they were only for calling other rooms and the receptionist would not allow me to use the reception phone. In the morning however the receptionist did dial my friends for me and allowed a call. Otherwise everything as it should be.

A rare night away for our wedding anniversary weekend

Check in was pleasant room was clean. The biggest problem with this hotel is the bar and restaurant. The staff seem very young and inexperanced. Poor service long waiting time for food and drinks. Two dishes sent back to kitchen. Do not eat here. Pool and gym are good.

Room smelt a bit stale, could have sworn somebody had smoked in it. Swimming pool noisy because of kids’ club, restaurant staff a bit clueless, but food good.
