Hotel Aura SFO Airport FREE SHUTTLE

The lady at reception was very nice & motherly. Arriving also late at night after a lovely ng flight, she was such a joy to greet us and attend to our needs.

The Hotel Aura itself was excellent. Beautiful room, spacious, fantastic room layout & amenities. We love ver it. The shuttle bus #1002 driver who picked us up at SFO at 10:35pm was rude, banging things around, even shouting at some guests inside the shuttle & outside. What was he so mad about? He was an elderly Chinese person. I’m Chinese, too, so I’m not being discriminatory. He had such a bad attitude. Angry.

I'm surprised the comfort rating of this hotel was so high on Booking. The walls are paper thin, street traffic continues all night, and the breakfast is hosted right outside the rooms on the second floor (where we were staying). While the value was decent for the price, we would have stayed somewhere else had we known. Some of my companions are light sleepers, and it was not pleasant for them.

Close to airport, great to have a free shuttle.

Checkin really hard, as staff weren’t there when we came. Breakfast wasn’t available as we had an early flight but no options available to grab something and go.
