The Adventure Inn Yellowstone

The Adventure Inn in West Yellowstone was a great find. I would highly recommend it. We stayed in the Hilgard Suite, which is 2 queens. The room is huge- plenty of space to store all your stuff and still have room to move around. It has an adjoining room, which has a small closet-type space in between, so you don't feel like your neighbor is listening to you. This room has 2 big windows, which provide lots of light. In addition to this, there are overhead lights, lights above the bed, and individual reading lights. So unusual for a hotel to have such good lighting! Fridge, microwave, Keurig, wine glasses (we got a bottle of wine while we were there), safe, small cache of paper plates/utensils for leftovers, plenty of counter space. Our room was on the 2nd floor, and it was super quiet. I never heard any of the neighbors. Very close to everything, including the National Park entrance (although West Yellowstone is such a small town, you're hardly far from anything). Our room was on the 2nd floor; stairs only - no elevator (there were 2 rooms on the 1st floor). Loved the combination locks on both the outside and inside doors (separate codes). Feels very secure. We were able to park 10 feet from the front door every time we drove in. We ate at the Buffalo Bar (twice) and Go-Go's Espresso.

We liked our room, especially since it was on the first floor. With no elevator, getting the luggage upstairs would have been difficult for us. We would stay here again.
