The outside was dirty and cigarette butts everywhere, slimy looking people hanging around,

The apartment is neat

The bed was not too comfortable

I booked the apartment last minute due to cancelled trains and got the key code through swiftly. Apartment has everything you need including an oven and kettle. Quite and cosy.

If I'm being VERY picky, an extra pillow or a non-feather pillow would be nice.

I was allowed to check in a bit earlier so that I can put away my luggage

Kitchen door, main door lock and a bowel were in bad shape

The apartment itself was great, well equipped, reasonably clean. Comfortable beds. Great location, 13 minutes drive from Helsinki airport.

Only the process of getting the code for the apartment. I did not receive the code in time as promised. I had to wait almost two hours, call the hotline, which initially gave me the wrong code. But in the end, everything was resolved successfully, and the apartment fully met my expectations.

Easy and contactless self-service check-in, short notice booking possibility which "saved my night" when travel plan changed unexpectedly, walking distance from the Hiekkaharju train station, wi-fi, spacious for a short-term stay, facilities would have been sufficient for a longer stay, clean in general, comfortable bed (could have been wider, though).

The apartment was much more dated/worn and cheaper feeling than what it looked like in the pictures. TV channels didn't work (but someone had forgotten to log out from their Netflix account, what compensated), and there was no shampoo or a hair dryer. The biggest turn-off was a really strong smell (of spicy food perhaps), which occupied the fridge and kitchen area. Maybe it was just bad luck right after the previous resident, but very uncomfortable for a smell sensitive person like me.
