"Was a very pleasant stay, great food and location in general. Very clean as typical for Japanese hotel rooms"

The hotel had an amazing buffet breakfast and is very close to the train station and other public transport.

Was a bit expensive and small, would have preferred a room with 2 town beds as well. However that was expected as we stayed during golden week and most of the rooms were booked already.

"Best place to base yourself in Hakodate"

Love the location - it’s literally behind the Hakodate station and bus terminal. Many eating places around. Very convenient. I also love the view from my room window at night. The bed faces the window and I can see the streets of Hakodate silhouetted by the mountains. I also like the little thoughtful touches in the room, like having a luggage rack, a low floor light and a bed lamp. The breakfast was really good! What a spread.
