Holiday Inn Express Bedford by IHG

The location is okay, not too far from downtown Halifax. Although some of the staff (front desk and manager) are great, I’d say avoid others. The room had rodents in it and smelled. I would say avoid this place, there are many others in Halifax that are more concerned with your contentment when you stay. I’d say book online, the discrepancy between online booking and what the hotel were offering were different. The rooms were accessible but dealing with the rodents and the owner and some of the staff were not worth it.

Honestly team were fantastic - really were willing to help with any queries we had and were most accommodating thankyou!

The reception staff was amazing I cant remember there names but we did get chatting and they was on the shift 8 may 2026. 3pm till 11pm it was a man and woman and it was the best ever service I've had from a hotel x

Staff very helpful,food was good.Ample parking close to the hotel.

We was put in a disabled room so everything was very low in the bathroom and the fan didn't work so very steamy.

Convenient location, clean, friendly and professional staff.

As always this chain delivers a great room and breakfast choice

The place was situated behind petrol so did expect it to be there, but ok when found Tried to order online takeaway delivery and seemed not to be able to get anyone that would deliver not sure why. Ordered food in evening food was little expensive
