Résidence Pierre & Vacances Avoriaz Saskia Falaise

Nádherná lokalita na vrcholcích skalnatých hor a k tomu jak ze sci-fi filmů dřevěné městečko. Je zcela autonomní, lze se tam najíst i nakoupit. Byli jsme tam v létě, zajímalo by mě, jaké je to v zimě, na lyže se dá nastoupit téměř před hotelem. Horší jsou vzdálenosti, někde lze parkovat v podzemních garážích nebo na rozlehlých parkovištích. K přesunu zavazadel lze zapůjčit vozíky. Prostory ubytování jsou využity do posledního centimetru. V apartmánu je vše důležité pro domácnost, i když my jsme si nevařili a nijak nehospodařili. Strávili jsme pouze dvě noci kvůli závodům v Morzine. V pokojích bylo dost těsno, povlečení/prostěradla byla částečně potrhaná. Interiér byl poměrně čistý, místy zašlý.

Die Zimmer waren dreckig und das Wifi funktionierte nicht. Die Rezeption sprach nur sehr schlecht englisch und war nur sehr schlecht zu finden, da sie sich in einem anderen Gebäude befand und dies nicht ausgeschildert war. Toilettenpapier und Müllbeutel waren nicht im ausreichenden Maß vorhanden.

Le standing a baissé sur certaines résidences P&V d'Avoriaz... L'appartement est spacieux et bien placé mais l'entretien est négligé: grosses tâches de salpêtre dans la salle de bains, ménage pas terrible, balcon sale (mégots, noyaux, etc). Le bon tarif en avril fait oublier ces détails mais on a connu mieux!

Would definitely stay here again,remember you get what you pay for ,it was clean and comfortable.Good location,only gripe would be that there was limited storage,but ok for 2 people,otherwise was very good

Can’t beat this on location, on the slopes and view to die for. Room was a little tired, but bathroom had been updated, so nothing luxurious about it but on practicalities it ticked all boxes. Compact but great storage and mini kitchen. Would def stay again - vfm and location are spot on, but only suitable for with close family!

Läget är långt från liftarna, rummen är välutrustade, passar två-tre vänner eller en familj med 3 små barn. Bra vitvaror. Hotelet saknar wifi och bastu vilket det ska ha enligt beskrivning, klagomål kommer framföras.

Initially we were a little disappointed when we arrived at our apartment. We stayed in the Malinka building over Xmas in what was supposed to be a superior apartment. The apartment was quite basic and looked absoloutly nothing like the photos of the superior rooms on the website. We also weren't expecting the apartment to have extremely steep stairs which were quite awkward with a toddler. We did raise our issues with the reception staff the following day but were told that the hotel only has 3 apartments that look like the pictures and there were none of these available. Apparently a number of guests have made this complaint but yet the pictures are still on the website and very deceptive. However we did enjoy our stay at the hotel Saskia. The view from our apartment was stunning and the hotel is very well placed for the restaurants and slopes. Avoriaz is very beautiful with so much to do. We can't wait to return and would definately stay at the Saskia again if the price was reasonable.

Booked a studio room, was a bit of a squeeze for the adults on the sofa bed but room was OK. Facilities in room allowed us to have breakfast and the meals.

We stayed in the Malinka residence. The reception is staffed 24/7 over at Saskia which is about 10m from the Malinka. Room 407 is for 4 people. 2 bunk beds and a double sofa bed. You could fit a fifth person on the other single sofa if you weren't bothered about privacy. Saying that, there were only two of us staying there and along with all our snowboard gear, 2 board bags and a suitcase it was comfortable. It would have been very cramped if the room Was at max capacity. If you aren't bothered about personal space though and just want to snowboard then it's ideal and will make your stay super cheap. There is some well thought out storage with most nooks and crannies being some form Of storage which we utilised well. The place was very clean and we were pleasantly surprised that the room was far better than how any of the pictures portrayed it. The kitchen was well equipped with a hob and dishwasher, fridge, and the microwave doubled up as the oven. we had a balcony view of the kids freestyle park so good if you want to keep an eye on your little ones, plus it offered great views down to Morzine and across the valley. There is a board/ski/boot room that has access on to a blue run down to Procolou lift and the mini stash. It is just 50m from a Sherpa supermarket which is well stocked. Here are a couple of restaurants and bars also within 50m and its a pleasant 5-10 minute, if that, to the centre where the majority of bars, restaurants and shops are. We would stay here again
