Express Inn

The hotel we wanted was book so the hotel.com rep told me this hotel was just 5min away for less. And to speak to the hotel manager through a glass window, I was given my room key and the television remote, room smelled. Slept in CAR!

Absolutely nothing fancy but clean, comfortable and located just seconds from the interstate (which we never heard at night). No breakfast except in-room coffee maker. Overall better than expected for the price (less than half the cost of nearby motels).

It was nice to have a clean room with a comfortable bed, a mini fridge, TV, and WiFi access.

The property has no lobby, just a man in a small foyer behind bullet proof glass which was sort of scary. But the room was clean and comfortable and I didn't feel unsafe coming, going, or in the room. A very basic, inexpensive stay.

If I would give it a minus I could. NOTHING good about this hotel. From the homeless sleeping under the bridge just down the street, the light bulbs missing and/or mismatched, the holes in the floor in the room, food remains near dirty microwave, no toilet paper, extremely small parking lot to the motor cycles serenading us all night due to the fwy off ramp at the front of the hotel. Should be torn down.

Literally right next to the freeway and very little done to insulate for sound. There must have been some type of biker bar nearby because I heard motorcycles frequently roar by. The rooms although not the worst I've ever seen, were on the run-down, dumpy side. The woman that checked me in was very nice though if that means anything.

I booked a room for two nights to attend the Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival. I shopped based on price, but also the reviews. I stayed Saturday & Sunday nights. I-80 is very close and the exit stop sign and on-ramp are immediately across the street. Lots of noise from the cars accelerating. I was on the 2nd of 3 floors and noise from people walking on 3rd floor was loud. Bath and sink separated by dressing area. Staff was OK. Should spend a little more and stay somewhere nicer.

While the hotel itself has seen its shinier days, this no-frills inn is a perfect place to rest your head for a night or two. The staff is really friendly (I even got a gift bag when I checked in), and the room was adequate.

HORRIBLE. TERRIBLE. DISGUSTING.

There was a very unpleasant smell in the room. We had a non smoking room and it was still a smell so strong that I had thoughts of leaving the Hotel and take another even though this was already paid! Otherwise clean, good service etc. I will not stay at this Hotel again!
