Piñon Court by La Fonda

I’m usually pretty easy going on my reviews, but I’m going to lay it all out. For the price ( I was not offered any discounts or asked if I was a senior, AAA, military, etc. when setting up my reservations), it wasn’t worth it. The location was good, but it did not offset the 2 mornings I didn’t have hot water (Luke warm at best). Also the breakfast was nice, but for 3 mornings it was exactly the same - for $300/night, let’s get some variety! The bed needs work, most hotels now have great mattresses, this one was way low (people with knee problems beware), and not very comfortable after walking all over the Plaza! The only saving grace was that the staff was very good. Won’t be back as there are many hotels in the area at that price point that probably would offer what the Pinon Court is missing.

The room decor was very pleasant and the hotels artwork was very well curated.

Bed was very firm for my taste and the rooms shutters were broken as was the toilet paper holder in the restroom.

This was a fabulous place for our large family to gather for a wedding. We were very comfortable and the breakfast area was a perfect place for us to gather. Thank you for everything!

Location was ideal for our first visit to Santa Fe; within walking distance to many attractions. Arriving after 7PM the first night we were referred to a nearby restaurant that was perfect for our needs. We found the city circulating bus by accident and it worked well; rode the entire circuit and decided which stops to use. The original plan was for two nights but we decided to stay and extra night and venture to Taos and Los Alamos. Parking was convenient, just steps for our room.
