Really nice hotel, the staff was very welcoming and the room was cozy.

On the day of our arrival we called the hotel multiple times with questions but no one answered. Upon arrival the worker who checked us in wasn’t friendly and seemed annoyed when we asked about discounts for government worker’s. She said they do not offer those discounts but the worker at checkout said they sometimes do. The hallways were steamy and there were multiple humidifiers set out to attempt to alleviate the heat but they didn’t work. The room was stuffy, the air stunk, the chair had mildew, the white comforter had brown spots, the carpet was dirty, the pool was freezing cold, and the room was $350 for one night! We’ve stayed in much nicer accommodations in San Antonio, New Braunfels, and Houston for much less. Don’t stay here!

I chose the hotel due to the convenient location. I was disappointed that my room was dirty. The bedsheets smelled like they hadn’t been changed. I killed 2 large roaches. Housekeeping came in and left the dead roach in the same place I left it. I addressed the different problems I encountered but nothing was done. Since it is a pet friendly hotel the carpets are very dirty and the hotel doesn’t smell clean.

Although the staff was very good, the room left much to be desired. It was quite damp and mildew smelling. Even when attempting to work out of the room, my pages would become damp.

I have to be here until October and I just LOVE Irene. She takes care of the breakfast during the week. She is super friendly, works hard, and always makes her guests feel welcome!! I'm glad I will get to visit with her while I'm here.

Very pleased with our stay for 3 nights.

Did not have a great experience here. The room was uncomfortably humid, as was the whole hotel. Corpus is always humid but normally you can escape that inside places. Not so here. The hotel was about as moist as it was outside. The room itself was alright but the bed was really uncomfortable. They use those older hotel blankets that are scratchy and thin. The pillow cases smelled musty as well. I only got a couple hours of sleep because the bed was quite uncomfortable. Other than this though everything else seemed clean. This places is fine in a pinch but if you want to enjoy the city, I'd find a slightly nicer place to stay.
