Lovely place

This property was absolutely adorable! The grounds, the rooms, beach area, bar! All of it! And the staff - front to back was incredible!

The location was excellent. We had easy access to the beautiful beach, and we could walk up and down the beach to access numerous restaurants. The restaurant and bar at Country Country were also quite nice, especially the free breakfasts. The beach was not crowded, and security guards made their rounds throughout the day. The noise from nearby Margaritaville was extremely loud on Friday night, but we didn't notice it during the week. My only complaint about the resort was that the bathroom towels were not at all soft, even though the beach towels were, so they were unpleasant on sunburnt skin!

This was the cutest, quietest place. It was a great relaxing time. As we were only there a short time we will return and will be bringing our family!

I thought the grounds and cottages were charming. There seemed to be an interesting mix of people staying there. The staff was wonderful and always kind. Although I tried to tune out the band from the Margaritaville Hotel next to us and the annoying beach promoters, it was intrusive! It's a shame that there is no law to bar such lound music on the beach. I will not return.

Country Country is a lovely, small resort - so much more charming than most of the places I passed on the beach. And the staff are really friendly and eager to make sure that your stay is enjoyable. Special shout out to Deirdre-Ann who worked hard to accommodate my need for a room closer to the beach and Monique who went out of her way to help me extend my stay. It would be great if there were screens on at least some of the windows in each room/suite so that in the daytime you can have some light in your room, without fearing mosquitos. As it is, there are just shutters. This would be more of a problem in heavy mosquito season. They do have mosquito nets for the beds if you ask, however. It's important to note that this is a party beach - which perhaps I should have known, but didn't see mentioned in any of the reviews...and that Margaritaville, which is just a few hundred yards down the beach has loud music playing, not just on Friday nights into the early hours (which I was advised about prior to my arrival) but every day from late morning onwards. I wished I could have picked up the resort and moved it further north or south on the beach! This didn't bother most people I talked with, so unless you are looking for peace and quiet, this place is really lovely. One note: the trip to the airport (Montego Bay) is about 2 hours and not the 90 minutes stated on the website.

We stayed for 3 nights and LOVED our family stay at Country Country. The property is paradise and the beach is unforgettable. Food and drinks were consistently great and priced reasonably. The whole resort is overflowing with Jamaican charm, from the brightly painted cottages to the friendly staff. We would definitely come back, but there are some things that could be improved. Our refrigerator did not work at all and was not repaired when we told the front desk about it. The coffee maker took a frustrating 30 minutes to brew just two mugs of coffee; it's clearly an older, inexpensive model that needs replacing. Lastly, neither of our rooms, which were located in separate cottages, had reliable Wi-Fi. It seems they rely on a residential Starlink system, and the range of the extenders is simply not sufficient for the size of the resort. A mesh Wi-Fi system or additional access points would significantly improve the guest experience. Lastly, it's not within the property's control, but Margaritaville is quite close and plays their music really loudly, especially on the beach during the afternoon. It wouldn't prevent us from returning, but it is helpful to know ahead of time. On the positive side, there are other resorts very close that have great food & drinks, especially Miss Lily's at Skylark. The resort faces the West, so the sunsets and beach walks are incredible.
