Breakfast was good. Bed is nice and comfortable.

We have stayed at the Fulton, MO Baymont Inn every year in September for 3 nights since 2017 for our Annual Willys Reunion Jeep Show. The Hotel has gone through ownership changes more than once and has progressively gotten worse each year. I do believe we had well over 40 rooms for our Group. The current owners are foreign and occupying rooms on the first floor with their family and tend to stare at customers in the lobby and eating area and have to be called to be checked in or out. Customer Service is very lacking and there was no greeting upon checking in as expected for Wyndham Rewards Members. My check in took approximated 10-15min and I had already prechecked in the previous day on the app after receiving a text notification. Our room this year had stained bedding, worn out pillows, and the mattress was as hard as would be sleeping on the floor. The bed side table between the beds had something spilled on it and was sticky. The toilet appears to have had a leak for some time based on the lime ring puddle stains on the dark tile behind it and never cleaned. The shower head was covered in lime residue and had very little water pressure. Maintenance had smeared a large bead of white caulk around the tub spout (not at all professional looking) and the tub had a large crack. We did get fresh towels daily, but the bed was never made even though it was requested. Breakfast if you can call it that was late and consisted of small hard cold biscuits which had to be microwaved (possibly frozen), gravy, and sausage patties the size of silver dollars. No Eggs or anything else in the hot food trays. A few Hostess Danishes and dry cereal. There were 3 metal carafe pitchers with Milk, Apple and Orange Juice, the Orange Juice was very watered down and not very good. Coffee pump carafes did leave coffee grounds in the bottom of your cup. The pot holes on the road entering the parking lot entrance have been there at least the last 3 years and getting very bad. (I have driven on smoother gravel roads), an there is crumbling and cracked concrete under the canopy driveway at the doors which has also been there at least 3 years if not longer. I stood at the counter for a good 10 minutes, was observed by a male member of the staff bringing out something from the kitchen and eventually had to walk to the kitchen door opening to request to be checked out, and he was just scrolling on his phone. He didn't even have the respect to come and check me out and either called or texted someone to do it.

I had stayed at this motel a few years ago and came back based on my experience at that time. The reason I stayed there was the location.

The fire alarm started to beep, so I had to walk down to get someone to replace the battery. He showed up barefoot, and I had to help him as he used the chair to replace it. The shower curtain and tub had rust stains on them, and the faucet had stains that could have been easily cleaned with lime away. I had some difficulty shutting off the shower faucet. I didn't eat breakfast as it consisted only of meat and gravy. When I stayed before, they offered scrambled eggs. I can only assume it was the preference of the new owner vs offering a more traditional breakfast. I only had coffee as a result.
