Econo Lodge Garden City - Savannah

The location was great. Staff was friendly. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. There was no marijuana smell in the building like several previous hotels I've visited with my kids.

Wish the pool had been open. Only complaint. Lol.

It was terrible and hotel for poverty. Need updates with smell and poverty.

Nasty and terrible customer

EVERYTHING- absolutely do not stay here. Do not tempted by how cheap it is. It is so sketchy. I’ve never drove up to a hotel and been too afraid to get out of the car. This place doesn’t have a front door attached to the building. It looks like a prison from the outside. There are sketchy people wandering around in and out of the building and they stare at you through your car window

Convenient location

Not clean, saw two roaches as we were packing to leave after being there all week. Very mediocre, probably wouldn’t stay again.

It was a place to rest my head for the night while traveling.

I should have known this was not the best choice due to a woman in the lobby telling me not to stay here when I first arrived. But I still checked in. The ceiling was leaking, and I had to put a trash can under the leak. This made the room smell musty. And in the morning, the trash can was 3/4 full of water! So, I went down to breakfast and when I came back the cleaning people were in my room cleaning. Check out was not until 11am and it was only 8 am. My stuff was still in the room, so you could tell I had not left yet.

The room itself was OK. Easy location to Uber into historic Savannah,

Check in desk/building can be easily missed if you don't know where you are going. Back carpark seemed very sketchy. Corridors were a bit sketchy too. Bathroom was very basic. Could do with modernising and better lighting.

My second room was excellent. Clean, comfortable and the two nights I stayed were reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast but the coffee was very good.

Only negative was that the first room I was given smelled terrible. I complained and was moved to another room.

Clean towels

Hallway smelled horribly. Facilities were in poor shape. No elevator.

Location

Room was damp, paint falling off the ceiling, door did not shut all of the way, breakfast was supposed to be included; however, there was no milk for the cereal, o juice in the machine, there was was only bread.
