The Lancaster Motel

I was just informed that the motel has been sold and will no longer be a motel going forward. The motel has limited wifi and cable service. I was supposed to stay there in three days but need find a new place. This might be difficult in these small towns on popular summer weekends.....ugh

The property its amazing, its quiet if youre not trying to have people around. The only downside is that there were literally no taxis nearby so it took me a while to find one.

This little nondescript motel exceeded all our expectations. Ruby the owner went out of her way to reserve a picnic table, grill and patio space for my family. The kids played safely outside, and the adults enjoyed cocktails in the lounge. The bar has one of the better whiskey selections you will see for one of its size. The secret speakeasy was certainly a highlight. I would never expect the Cigar lounge to have such a well stocked humidor. A MUST SEE! The family had a fantastic time, and the location is ideal. A hidden gem!

It is a unique piece of history, a snapshot in time. Ruby was great at check in, warm and friendly. I really appreciated the details and invite to the lounge, I was just too travel weary to go.

I really enjoyed staying here. The owners were stupendously warm, kind, and helpful when my car broke down and even had a sense of humor about it. If I had to stay in Lancaster again, they would be my first choice!

No heat owners do not have manners and rough you can smell maruwana in the parking lot reception area Never had terrible experience

Room definitely is outdated but its a older hotel.. bed wasnt super comfortable. An the A/C kicked on like every 5 mins even on Auto an it was super loud. Tv was very slow. An the wifi kicked you off every so often.. wasnt completely horrible for the price but cojld have been better.
