Americas Best Value Inn Wytheville

Good water pressure. Hard water. Non-smoking rooms still smelled like smoke. Beds were marginal. Grubby feeling bathroom with lots of non-white caulk. Many of the rooms were occupied by males that were living there while on a job assignment in the area. We arrived on a Sunday. Most of these guys spent both the day and the evening sitting outside of their rooms. We were not comfortable. We will not return.

It's old. No two ways around that. But it's clean and it's comfortable. Neat also how they decorate the old cinder block wall to look like wallpaper. Also appreciate they are about half the price or less than anyone else here on race weekend. Breakfast is bare bones but everything there was fine. Will absolutely stay here again if in the area.

They make every effort to insure that the no smoking policy is followed. Room was pristine. Everything was easy to locate. Wifi access was outstanding. TV quality was also outstanding. Block walls made for wonderful sound insulation and privacy. Breakfast room was clean and well stocked. Excellent experience. Bill was clearly very proud of the property and made every effort to be accommodating and welcoming. THANKS FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE!

Out family stayed one night in a room with two double beds and a table with two chairs. The room was old and plain, but very clean, and everything (air, lights) worked. At $65 for the night with a modest breakfast included, this motel is a great deal.

We got stuck on 77 south with an accident and were looking for a place to stay. Booked over the phone very efficient. Room was clean, beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. Best of all was the price! Even got a free breakfast.

After driving for the day, we stopped here for the night. This is an old motel. Our room was on the back side. The parking was small. There were outside stairs to the second floor. It could use some paint on the outside. Our room had cement block walls that were painted. The bathroom sink had a perpetual leak. The TV was a large flat screen. The bathroom was clean. It was quiet. The bed was firm and we had an adequate number of pillows. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and efficient.

Great budget motel for an overnight stop! I'm a woman traveling alone and felt very safe here. It's clean, quiet, family oriented, and the room I was in looked to be recently updated with a very comfortable bed. The staff is lovely and I got a wake-up call with no problem. I was late to breakfast (my fault, not theirs) but they made sure I had coffee and cereal. The room had at least 8 outlets (not sure how many the other reviewers needed) and they worked just fine. This is a comfortable place and I will stay here again. It is also half the price of all the other basic hotels in the area.

Plenty fine place to stop for cheap while on a road trip. Older motel nothing fancy. Decent sleep. Good coffee. Ample ice. Negatives: minimal power outlets, no alarm clock/ usb, teevee volume didn’t work Desk guy (Bill) was very friendly.

The room was clean and a value for the low price. It was not bad for an overnight stay but everything was very cramped, and few electrical outlets available. The breakfast was continental in every sense of the word and high in carbs. The host/manager was very nice, however.

The room was nice (showing it’s age) comfortable and quiet. The shower doors had some mold in the track and the bathroom floor had stains....but if you’re on a budget this place will get the job done.
