Americas Best Value Inn-Baytown

Spent 10 days there. The employees Bhakta and Denny was very personable. Had no issues with them. My room was kept clean every day. The breakfast offerings can be improved to include at least a toaster with sliced bread and butter to make toast. The microwave in my room was outdated and had an issue, and although it was late, Bhakta allowed me the use of another microwave. Overall, it was a good stay and I would recommend it.

Front desk was very rude. Didn't greet me just said to wait he was not ready. He was telling another customer very rude that he needed to understand that there was no refund for cancellation. I just sat down and called Hotels.com to cancel reservation and they gave me a full refund.. Thanks to them I was able to book at Quality Inn Garth rd who were very nice.

Room had 1 towel for 4 guests? Room was not clean and shower was terrible. Ahurch blew moist swamp air

Was heading to Galveston for a weekend getaway. Most of Galveston was book except really pricey rooms so I decided to book in Baytown as it was really cheap. Originally did entire weekend at Baytown then found an opening in Galveston and cancelled 2 of the 3 days.. It was around 11:40pm and I got a call from the hotel and she asked where I was.. I said that I was turning in as we speak. At the counter, she asked why I was so late? I said I hit traffic and couldn't control it.. What does it matter, I paid for the room whether I'm early or late you got your money.. Just overall very rude. That's the service end... Room quality.. Open the door and it smells of smoke.. I indicated NON Smoking and my reservation matched that... For a non smoking room why is there an ash tray in the room? Next, the photo of the room didn't match on the website.. No way these 2 beds were 2 queen beds.. With all that and the 1 towel they had in the room for 4 people.. I was glad this was a one night thing.. The one that opened up in Galveston should be much better! I would avoid this place unless it is 1 night, you're tired.. And nothing else is available. I only stayed here

Couple who own it are very polite and friendly. Clean place, newly painted. Bed had a new mattress and sheets were clean. A/C worked great! Great water pressure and hot water! Zero complaint. Would definitely stay again!

Always stay here when in the area. Updated, clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Convenient to lots of shops and restaurants.

The lady at the front desk is very rude and inconsiderate for people who have to work
