Thematic apartments, African, Mexican, etc. Very good breakfasts. Discounts for swimming pool in the neighboring sanatorium. Fitness in the pension, private parking. Bicycles for rent, nice space for walking and watching birds. A real pearl.

"Positively surprised"

Kolory świata - truly the colours of the world. Every room is different, each named by different country from all over the world, all furnished accordingly - to the extreme detail, including the colour of the kettle, or even outlets. I've stayed in two different rooms, as in the meantime I extended my stay. In the Amazonia room, not only the bed frame is made of bamboo, but also the motive on bathroom tiles is green bamboo. The Istanbul room, very spacious, great for families, as the the bed on the lower level is at least queen size. On the mezzanine floor there is an additional bed, which is a double bed. It is really nicely furnished, all pieces of wooden furniture are kind of Arabic style. Breakfasts are amazing, very tasty, and I always left the cafeteria with full stomach. On some of the mornings we were served a pie, and once a 🍓 strawberry cake. The great advantage of this place is the service, the ladies are amazingly nice. Very helpful and friendly in a nice but not a pushy way. They really took into consideration that I am lactose intolerant, and tried to prepare a safe and tasty breakfast for me everyday. As a coffee drinker, I appreciated good coffee from the real coffee machine everyday. There was a nice surprise waiting for me on my first day - a bottle of Spanish wine. I've also used the spa downstairs, two facial treatments and one so called "ritual". Asia, the beautician is really nice, and was so kind to come just for me, on my first day at 9pm. so I could already have a facial on my very first evening. It's only 1.5km, so about 3 minutes drive to the Baseny Mineralne, which is a rehabilitation centre, which I also truly recommend. The sulphuric water has the miraculous effect on your body, especially when you have discopathy or sciatica or Degenerative disc disease.

"Amazing individual hotel where you would least expect it!"

8.0

The Kolory Swiata is situated in a small, sleepy spa village called Solec-Zdroj - not the first place you would think of having a wonderfully bizarre 'boutique' hotel. I stayed there with a colleague whilst on business and have to say I was impressed - 10 rooms all different, each one inspired by a different country or region. My room was Tazmania - a huge aboriginal mural, a boomerang light, lots of bamboo furnishings; my colleague was Spain - a split level room with the centrepiece being a giant bull made of coarse rug fabric which you woke to each morning! Other rooms include Africa with a large giraffe and Greece with a tree - all very bizarre but done in quite a stylish way. They have a sauna & gym in a building out back, lovely views across fields & forests, a home cooked breakfast with hot dogs and soft apple pastries and if you need a beer then the large Malinowy Hotel over the road has a good bar. If you ever needed to go to Solec-Zdroj then I would 100% recommend this hotel - what it lacks in amenities it makes up for in quirky sophistication and good value.
