We have been lucky to have such a great host as Augustin. Warm welcome, great service and unique place to stay. We can only recommend to visit El Castellar and enjoy nice walk around the village. Thank you Augustin !

Warm welcome, friendly helpful owners, comfy rooms, really comfy beds. Decent breakfast, good location, clean and spacious bathroom, free and easy parking in front of the hotel, overall great stay would definitely repeat

Not much but it would be nice if the lights in the room would work separately. If you want to turn on your bedside table light, all the lights in the room go on. So it’s all ON or all OFF.

- Great location right on the central square of the small beautiful town - The staff was really pleasant - You can park right in front of the hotel - Breakfast was good - Room was spacious thought we had one under the roof and didn't have much view - We dined at the hotel and it was a pleasant experience - The town is a great place for the kids to explore the dinosaur story and visit the sites nearby with the tracks

- Price-quality was really at the high end - As we found out later that for our newborn we we charged the same rate as for the 8 y.o. though obviously no breakfast was taken but that was at the side of the booking.com

I don't think I have adequate words to express how lovely this hotel is. The location is sublime, travelling through the mountains and coming out into this little village with a square and a church was wonderful. The hotel is run by a family and we were met by one of the sons (sorry I didn't get his name). Although there was a language barrier we managed thanks to the Internet and he was very friendly and accommodating, nothing seemed too much trouble. The room is simply furnished but beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a very good night's sleep. The bathroom is large, two sinks and separate doors for the shower and toilet. What struck us the most was how clean everywhere was, spotless! We enjoyed an evening meal cooked by the mother ( who also does the cleaning) and there was quite a good choice and reasonably priced. Breakfast was also prepared by the mother and there was a good choice too.

Breakfast started at 8.30, too late for me so I missed out!
