"Excellent food, service, location. Not easy to get to from North America."

We were comparing this to all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico. FIrst, there is no tipping expected. This was a nice change. Second the food and drinks were excellent. We always feel like the basic drinks in Mexico and the Carribean resorts are watered down. Not here. They were real and good. Even the beer that was included with the resort was excellent. The buffet was extensive and included nights where they served rabbit and duck. Overall quality of the food was excellent. LOTs and LOTs of chairs by the pool. We never had a problem finding chairs. Umbrellas were less plentiful but we were always able to find one. I know this isn't controlled by the resort but the weather was great!

No room service. Not even if you wanted to pay for it. Not a deal breaker but in other resorts we liked the option. Rooms were clean but dated. Hot water didn't come right away. There were times I had to run all the taps in the bathroom to get water warm enough to shower. We booked reservations at 3 restaurants (that was the limit for our 8 night stay. We didn't enjoy the food at the first one (steak) and cancelled the other 2 reservations. The buffet was so good that we just stuck with the buffet. About 1/3 of the resort is undergoing a renovation but that didn't impact the main resort although it might explain why our experience with the first restaurant wasn't good

De zwembaden waren groot en rustig, perfect voor een relax vakantie. Buffetten waren goed, savonds was er life muziek en kon je of met eem drankje bij de muziek gaan zitten of met een cocktail genieten van de achtergrond muziek

Me gustó todo...lo único y por decir algo la habitación muy lejos de todo...para desplazarme al desayuno..almuerzo y cena teníamos que caminar bastante y subida con mi madre que tenía problemas en las piernas...pero de resto un 10
