Pacific Resort Aitutaki

Hotel is located perfectly, it was designed very nice. Rooms very uncomfortable, beds even worst. Air conditions in both of our rooms didn't work, rooms were not maintained few times. They tell you when you arrive that you can rent swimming shoes since they have Stone Fish in the ocean!! Nobody was going to try luck and go in 2 feet deep water. Alternative was nice pool, as per video and pictures. Water temperature in the pool is about 15 deg C. No pool use either. Than we thought seafood must be good, and again no, 150$ seafood plate for two!! I have to add Mosquitos that are relentless. Hotel staff give you 2$ coil to burn when you are outside, they do not fumigate at all around guest rooms. We canceled second week and cut first to only 4 days. Hotel never offered refund of any kind.

After being welcomed at the airport with fresh gardenia leis, we were driven to our beautiful resort where we were again welcomed with a drink and quick tour. We were delighted with the privacy and decor of our villa, set up on rocks overlooking the beach and lagoon where we had panoramic views of the sunset from the rooms and expansive balcony. We watched the fish jumping and walked down our own steps to the beach for snorkelling. The staff were delightful and meals superb. A very relaxing holiday and we will be back.

lovely setting with bungalows on the beach. Lovely, private and beautiful water, but rather shallow for swimming but still possible during high tide. Found staff lovely and accomodating. Only complaint was the food was over priced for what it was, and there was not a huge variety. Going out is not a big option as there are few good restaurants on the island and it's expensive to get driven as the hotel does not provide a service without a charge.

Felt totally spoilt the whole trip by the friendly staff. An absolutely beautiful spot, with a great intimate resort.
