First question- why are there only 2 reviews of this hotel from the past two years? Are they being scrubbed? We last stayed at this hotel 3 years ago and said “never again” even though we travel this path often. We optimistically assumed this decrepit relic of a Hilton must have been renovated by now so we took a chance and stopped again. Big mistake. It’s only gotten worse. We entered the room to be smacked in the face with what can only be described as “wet dog” smell. The furnishings are from a 1990’s time capsule collection. Lamps and shades are all mismatched. The stained, sagging and filthy couch looked like it had been pulled from a dumpster. Carpet was stained. Wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. Bathtub was stained brown - no scrubbing would remove it. We stood dumbfounded for a few minutes debating whether or not to walk out and only stayed because the sheets appeared clean and it was late at night, we’d spent hours on the road and we were tired. No one is going to deem this an acceptable hotel. It needs to close. The lady who checked us in was very nice and pleasant. Our Hilton status was not recognized. Any of the old rave reviews from years past literally have to have been written by the owners friends and family.

The building and decor in lobby are nice. Hubby liked the breakfast. I had an allergic reaction to the scents in the lobby and in my room. As soon as you enter the front lobby, you are blasted with a scent from somewhere. And there was a strong cleaner scent in the rooms. The rooms are overall clean, but could stand vacuuming along the corners and high areas. The furniture is battered in the rooms.

There was dirty furniture in the room. The sheets were stained. There were bugs alive and dead in the window. The power went out briefly. The food was terrible and although the staff tried they were simply understaffed and the inefficiency effected the quality of service and food.

They dont clean the a/c vent very good or under the mattress, they charge for water bottles. The bathroom how ever the toilet seat was bent and the tub was pleaning ,and chips in the bottom of tub. Plus it didnt say on hotels Com the pool or hot tub wasnt working

We had vehicle problems and the staff was soooo kind and generous to let us stay in our room until our help rescued us! Definitely the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at
