Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront Mackinaw City

Right on the water, walking distance to Arnold Ferry, Beautiful Lobby.

The bed was a little too high for me. It was a little difficult to get in and out. I’m 74 so probably easier for a younger person. The breakfast was great except fresh fruit would have been nice!

Unfortunetly I only liked the view and location of this hotel.

This hotel is very dated and has that old smell. It was super expensive for the 2 nights stay even with the breakfast included. The furniture in the room is old and broken, the carpet smells. The bathroom well I am not sure it was cleaned at all. The shower was leaking constently and had hard water deposit on the walls, looked really bad. The drain was full of someone elses hair ( gross). The toilett lite was very dim and flikering. The air conditioner were super loud. The balcany floor was very old concrete, chipped, broken. Balcany door was hard to open and close and the lock was broken. There was no security in the hotel, anyone could come and go anytime. The breakfast was absolutely dreadful in a dated room. Anyways do not stay at this hotel! Overpriced and just not good!

Location was great for walking to shops! Rooms were just what I asked for, side by side and a beautiful view of the lake and sunrise from the balcony! Staff was friendly and helpful!

Room was a little dark for my taste but otherwise very comfortable. Coffee maker was not k-cup but staff always provided coffee packets.

My wife and I loved our room which had a balcony overlooking Lake Huron. The room was very clean (thanks to Angelita) and we really enjoyed the private hot tub in our room. The hotel staff at the front desk was awesome and very receptive to our hotel needs. I want to call out Michelle at the front desk who made us feel at home and was very helpful to us. We are looking forward to staying at this hotel again.

Nothing stood out as needing improvement.
