Hotel le Noailles Nice Gare

Nice location, near the train station. And really nice people

Hotel is very close to railway station, and even closer to tram stop. Despite this, it wasn't noisy. It provided us with a base to explore Nice and Monaco

Either it's because of the amount of competition nearby, or maybe because the trains run in front of the hotel, but the fact of the matter is, I was shocked at how new and clean and overall excellent this hotel is for the price. The staff at the front desk both at night and in the morning were incredibly accommodating and helpful. The room is huge by European standards, and immaculately clean. The bathroom is large is well, and even the shower is big enough to turn around in, which is uncommon in French hotels in my experience. The room had a kettle with instant coffee and tea, and the cable for the TV had some English channels, such as BBC world. All of the fixtures in the halls and in the rooms looked new, and to be perfectly honest, in Canada, a hotel this nice would have cost twice as much, maybe more. The tracks for the TGV and the intercity trains do run directly in front of the hotel, but I did not find that they disturbed my sleep. I don't know if the trains run 24 hours a day, but it wasn't a problem with the windows closed. Hotel Kyriad is located less than a block away from Gare de Nice. Lots of nice restaurants in the area. There was plenty of linen in the washroom, a big wardrobe for clothes in the sleeping area with a safe inside if you need to store your valuables, and fast reliable Wi-Fi. I have spent almost a week in France now on this trip, and so far Hotel Kyriad has been my best hotel experience yet.

Better than expected for the price. Good location close to train station, but not noisy. Rooms a good size. Weak WIFI, but you can't have everything.

Right by the railway station with the trams right outside. Lots of restaurants around and the room was quiet and comfortable. Staff are helpful and speak English too. BBC and CNN are available if you need a tv fix.

Really lovley place. €6 for bus from airport to nice gare train station. Bus to montecarlo is only €1,50 for a 40 min bus ride. Sit on the right for the scenery..the old town in bustling with shops and bars. Port is lovley to see. Promenade is a lovley walk

The hotel is close to train station with supermart and fast food nearby. There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel. The room is clean and has good sound proofing. Recommended.

great place central to everything had a wonderful holiday .i thing i will fault ,the buffet breakfast ,not a lot to choose from ,very poor .everything else was excellent .i will go back again and stay at the same hotel,

Staff welcomed us with a smile and were happy to give recommendations on the area. Unfortunately on entering the room my eyes were drawn to the carpet which was stained in so many places. I have not stayed in accommodation with carpet in such a sad state before. Luckily everything else looked clean so I assumed they had likely tried to clean the carpet but had no luck with the stains. The shower/bath had no curtain so the water goes all over the floor which was very annoying. On the positive side, the location was great with easy access to the station, tram, and shops and the staff were happy for us to leave our bags with them after checking out due to departure from Nice later in the afternoon. Overall it was a decent stay and reasonable price with friendly service , I would just hope they change the carpet and get a shower curtain soon .
