We are frequent visitors to LBJ. We stayed at the Resort to celebrate our 38th Anniversary. Several staff members made it special for us. We even extended our stay because of how enjoyable our stay has been.

The condo we stayed in was very nice. Very clean, well decorated & comfortable. Pretty view of the lake as well. Close walking to the activities we did. Would stay here again.

The property and location are picturesque. But something is off about this place. They slated a weekend of activities on their website (and why we booked the stay the 2 days prior), only find out there was a wedding booked way in advance so none of these things were going to happen. Why did they continue to advertise it even the day prior? It's listed as a 4 star hotel, but the service is hit or miss. The elevators do not reliably work. The kids club seems adorable but needs some cleaning. The property must be focused on their realty service, weddings, private jet clients as it doesn't really seem to want just casual hotel guests there.
